The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has released a planning layout for the Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road (BRBR) upgrade. Improvements being considered will support the growing needs of school and residential communities in the local area.

The planning will investigate options for additional lanes (2 to 4 lanes), intersection upgrades, and active transport improvements. These upgrades will provide critical connections to the future stages of the Coomera Connector and support future growth of the South East Queensland region.

TMR is liaising with directly impacted residents and businesses during the consultation phase and invites the community to have their say on the proposed planning layout.

TMR sought feedback on your views on the proposed planning for the BRBR upgrade. Feedback will help the project team understand what is important to you to help shape this project and future planning projects.
